Just a quick note to let you all know that we’re rolling out a new section today, called the Gallery. This new part of the site will feature artwork, screenshots and teaser images, just like you thought it will. My troubled road back to Hyboria

I used to play Age of Conan, but I stopped. Not because of the broken gameplay or lack of content, but rather from boredom. Disregarding the fact that I never seem to be able to catch on all of these trendy online role-playing games out there, some part of me wants to anyway. Weird!
I need a relaxed game where I can just sit back and enjoy an XP feast with my fellow friends, along with too much time and a couple of beers. And now that Funcom is luring old players back with their re-activation campaign it was too good to pass on. Why not, it’s not like I have anything to lose.
But the road to get the game up and running again would prove to be anything but easy and enjoyable. Read more

I thought it arrived last year. Anyway, nice to see that Funcom is really pushing the game in an effort to regain some of the trust they lost from players during its initial year on the market.
State of Living Hyboria: We’re Getting There!
You obviously noticed the change in scenery here huh? We’re running a child theme built on Notes Blog Core, a great WordPress theme by TDH himself. Could it kick more ass than that?
Certainly.
But this is what we got for now. We’ll bling it some more later on, when we’re not too busy playing Age of Conan or writing snarky blog posts.
So yeah, we’re getting there.
More About the Stats
In the 1.05 patch, one of the news was revamped statistics. In short, everything makes a lot more sense these days, as active players will tell you. The Message from the King blog writes a bit about how the core stats (like Strength or Intelligence, as is used in the example as well) trickles down to sub-stats and ups your various stats. 1 point in Strength will up your Armor by 2, for example.
